About Tech Expo

Inland Empire Tech Week will kick off on May 12th with a Technology Expo hosted by both SmartRiverside and the County of Riverside’s IT Department. The Expo will bring together over 300 technology professionals in education and government to discuss issues affecting their industry.

With three dynamic tracks, topics will include:

Delivering Free Wi-Fi
Video Security
Web 2.0 Strategies: Integrating GIS Services
Call Center Management
Customer Relationships
Using Social Media and Networking to Build Your Business
Extending your Wi-Fi Indoors to your Business

In addition, attendees will receive the opportunity to network with representatives from government, industry, and a variety of other key industry contacts in technology-related fields. More than 50 technology vendors will in attendance and several local companies will be providing demonstrations of their latest products and software.

The event will take place on May 12, 2008 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Riverside Convention Center in Historic Downtown Riverside.

Technology Expo is part of the Inland Empire Technology Week, a weeklong series of events designed to highlight the strength of the region’s technology base.
